a day at the beach with mummy, andrew and matt

yes, i know how lucky i am to have grown up in a beachtown, where we made sandcastles on weekends, lie on the sand with our friends and share secrets, wade in the water to look for little crabs, and picking up especially pretty shells, eating ice cream and holding hands

hands up, readers who are from PD, how many of you have at least one good memory associated with this stretch of beach?

this pic is for muizz, mostly, for all the laughter and screaming that came with the banana boat rides, even though we did it so many times, the thrill never quite fades.

mummy and the boys, i took this while walking behind them, we were looking for the perfect sandcastle spot.

my little cousin matt, clutching on to his ice cream stick, i took so many pics of him that day but somehow i love this one best.

more reasons to be jealous

my aunt spoils my sister and me rotten, really, but we're not complaining.
last week she came down from singapore with all the good stuff we're missing out on..
carol and i are chocolate snobs, we dont settle for any old Cadbury bar, it has to be SPECIAL

and besides, the Cadbury bought in Australia, the UK and, wow, SINGAPORE, is made with a different quality of milk, so after you've had that, the malaysian bars just don't cut it.

so we get our (better) chocolate fix from our aunt, who gets us the good stuff from gorgeous singapore where you can get cooler stuff, honestly, i've never seen some of these bars for sale in malaysia before. I mean, there are the common nut ones (the nuts are crunchier and fresher), but there are also cooler ones, like these

yay for cool things other malaysian people don't get. If you're reeeeeaaaally nice to me, i'll share.

you tagged me on facebook and oh, i cannot answer this tag, not this question... anything i say would be straight from my heart and i refuse to share that with you of all people.

lots more randomness

i know i've done one of these before on my blog but i was sixteen then.. i reread it and i realized how different my answers would be now, so hey, lets's do it again for comparison's sake.

1) can you taste the difference between pepsi and coke?
-umm... i mean, i haven't had either in YEARS, but i know Pepsi is more citrus-flavored, Coke is more caramel-ish.

2) what's your favourite perfume?
-easy, it's my signature scent, Rush, by Gucci. I love how sweet and playful and sexy it is.

3) three things you like about yourself.
a) that underneath it all, i'm pretty damn smart, and i suprise everyone from time to time.
b) the fact that i find a lot of things funny, so i laugh a lot, and that means i have fun easily.
c) my hair, for the higlights and soft curls and waves.

4) have you ever fallen in love with someone online?
-it might have felt like it at the time, i guess.

5) have you ever done anything illegal?
-um... i don't think so... some underage clubbing, oh, and i broke a ton of school rules if that counts?

6) what's your favourite song?
-oh, that changes everyday! but right now it's Imaginary by Evanescence, it's a piece of musical brilliance, really... the music on this one tries so many directions in just one song, and it works! This song and it's lyrics, however, do kinda scare me a bit, but it's that delicious creepy feeling.. nice.

7) who was the last person you kissed?
-timothy, at the KLCC LRT stop, just a quick "goodnight, see you tomorrow" kinda kiss, though.

8) can you dance?
not well, not to those RNB-ish crap in clubs and at parties, but i love slowdancing *sighs dreamily*

9) chocolate or vanilla?
neither!!!! red beans!!! viva la azuki!!! okay, okay, i HAVE to pick one? vanilla, baby... classic and sweet.

10) three things you'd take with you if you were stranded on a desert island
a) food
b) a sleeping bag
c) a way to call for help once i'm done with this little vacation.

who i am kinda likes who i've been

my new phone has a nice, blank memory card for me to fill up with my music
this time, however, i'm really enjoying picking the songs that are lucky and loved enough to make it to my phone.

this time, though, so far not a single RNB track has made it, most of them are alternative rock, just the way i like it

i've resurrected some of my favourites from when i was in high school, a lot more Skillet and Evanescence. I forgot how much i loved Fallen,

I think i had better taste in music when i was younger.. grrr.

dear-guy-who-snatched-my-cellphone,

I hope you don't make a single cent off my phone. I hope, on the way home you get hit by a bus full of violent clowns. I hope your girlfriend decides to cheat on you and gives you a nasty STD that'll keep you both out of bed for months.

I hope you'll never have to do this to anyone else. I forgive you.

my sister walked in on me today
i froze, panicked, was terrified that she would think less of me, hate me for my weakness, tell my mom.
she smiled.
it was a smile that said clearly, "careful, sherene, you wouldn't want me to tell, now, would you?"
how many good actors are there really in this family?
