for some reason or another

...this is the best thing anyone has ever given me

for those of you that have, at any point, been my classmates, you'll know how i feel about note-taking...
i'm usually the one calling someone the night before the class going... "um, wait, about what was on the board, ...right?"
a while back, our teacher gave us a few important tips on what to study for an upcoming assessment, and guess who didn't get them down?
and so, i was going to ask for someone to let me copy it from them, all the while internally feeling utter annoyance that i'd have to stop writing an answer to a question i was doing, to do it. (i hate being stopped from something halfway)
and before i could ask he just slipped a sheet of paper onto my book, everything i needed already written down in his distinctively familiar handwriting.
for some reason or another it touched me so much, i'm not sure why, myself.
i feel so lucky.

dear you,
how do i begin to apologize?
you were there, long before any of this, before I clung on to my helium balloon and floated up, above the ground, not looking back at you.
and so, yes, i forgot just how much you mean to me, i was so busy running ahead to catch up with ambition and happiness that i let go of your hand and left you somewhere behind
i'm still here, okay?
i'm still me, if you'll still be you.
run with me, alright? I refuse to let go this time.

love, sherene

isn't cool how music can make your day?

smile for nickelback!!!!!
i used to love them back in my highschool days, back before they got all emo-happy
i found one of their albums on my laptop... it's amazing, the stuff i store on this and forget about later
this is a nice suprise....

and ALSO, i downloaded some Killswitch Engage, it's been a while since I've had metal, yay, I adore these guys, because with metal it's difficult to find bands with depth and creativity rather than those who just want to scream pointlessly.

Killswitch, though, is goooooood. Mmmmm.
